The patient was taken for laparotomy and a large cyst was found occupying the left side of the abdomen extending from the left ovary to the retroperitoneal region. The cyst measured about 14 cm x 13 cm x 11 cm. There were adhesions with the small intestines separated and the cyst excised from the left adnexa of the uterus. The procedure was successfully carried out and Dr. Vandana Tanksale and her team removed the cyst.
